Join the Waverley Singers

The Waverley Singers invite prospective new members to try us out at a few rehearsals. These are held on Thursdays from 7.30 to approx. 9.45pm, September to early July, at The Spire Church, on the corner of South Street and Victoria Road, Farnham (free parking after 1830 in the Waggon Yard car park off Lower Church Lane - 5 mins walk). New members will be asked to undertake a simple audition when this can be arranged. If that seems like a daunting prospect, this video shows that it needn't be so!

Members pay an annual subscription towards venue hire and professional costs.  The current rate of £180 per year represents excellent value and can by agreement be paid in instalments.

Additional costs for members include the hire or purchase of music, a black folder and appropriate concert dress for performances. We are anxious that anyone wishing to join the choir should not be prevented by lack of funds, especially in light of the current financial situation, and will assess any application for reduction in fees confidentially on a case-by-case basis.

We have a Scholarship Scheme for young singers aged 18 – 26 and a special rate for students.
