Each year members of the choir propose local charities, or local branches of national charities, for support by means of a retiring collection at Waverley Singers concerts. In this way, the amount we have helped raise for charity since our concert programme restarted after the pandemic in October 2021 is over £15,000, and since proper records began in November 2015, nearly £27,000! Before that our records are incomplete, but we know that we were supporting charities for many years beforehand. (If anyone can fill in any gaps we would be most grateful!)
