It was around this time that the Waverley Singers, hitherto an all-female choir, decided to add male voices. The 'advertisement', below, appeared in the local newspaper in November 1958; judging by the image from this concert, also below, it was met with instant success, as we can count seven men in the ranks, not including the conductor! Lucky chaps!
