This concert was in aid of the 'New Chair Fund' (whatever that was!) at the Methodist Church.
The main picture (and below) shows the choir and conductor posing for a picture after the concert. From photos of a subsequent concert on 19 November we believe that that the gentleman on the right is the baritone soloist, John Harding.
As the second review, below, says:
"The choir...formed only a year ago...is undoubtedly a musical asset to the town."! (Actually, they had been formed only eight months previously!)
